How To Play Craps
In the game of Craps, the best way to win is by rolling a 7 or 11 with the dice on the first roll.
The game begins with a come out roll, or the first roll. The person rolling the dice is called the shooter. Each person at the table has a chance to be the shooter. This goes clockwise around the table.
The shooter wins when the come out roll is 7 or 11 and loses if he gets craps, which is 2,3 or 12.
Point numbers are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. The shooter can also win by getting the same point again before rolling a 7.
Once a point is established, a puck is set over that number on the table with the white side facing up.
The puck is moved over the 12 with the black side facing up if the shooter gets the point or rolls a 7.
The dice are passed to the next player on the left when the shooter loses.
The most common and simplistic form of betting in craps is called the pass line bet. This bet pays even money if the shooter gets 7 or 11 or rolls the same point again.
After establishing a point, you can increase your line bet by taking odds that the same point will be rolled again. When taking the odds, you will win more than you bet.
